He is no longer on life support and "the road to recovery has begun," Wylie said in a statement sent to the Washington Post.
"The injuries are serious, but his condition is progressing in the right direction", added the agent of the author of "Satanic Verses" stabbed Friday at the cultural center of Chautauqua (State of New York) in the neck and abdomen .
