A "virtual co-pilot" is needed in order to exclude an increase in the load on a single pilot.

On August 9, a corresponding tender was placed in the Unified Information System in the field of procurement.

It is planned to spend up to 2.877 billion rubles on the implementation of the research work "Computational and experimental studies of promising technologies, including artificial intelligence technologies, and analysis of the conditions for their applicability in aircraft of the transport category" (code "Integral T").

According to the documentation, the contractor will have to develop about a dozen technologies, as well as create a "virtual co-pilot" demonstrator for aircraft.

This should be a half-life model of a universal cockpit with an imitation of the environment.

Earlier, Vladimir Artyakov, First Deputy General Director of the Rostec State Corporation, announced the development of mini-missiles for the Pantsir air defense missile system.
