The property that the Wennstigs live in is an old disused farm that they moved to in the summer of 2005. They took some trees and bushes with them from the previous property, which was a stone's throw from this one - so the work had already started long before they moved.

Today there is a fantastically large and beautiful garden that has taken the couple 17 years to plant.

It has been named Triloba Trädgård and it has managed to grow to just over 4,500 square meters over the years.

Shrubs, perennials and ponds

It contains a variety of trees, shrubs and perennials and many room environments with seating, footpaths and several ponds that create both life and stillness in the garden.

A lovely and harmonious environment to walk around or just sit down and listen to the wind blowing in the leaves.

- The interest in gardening has only grown and grown so that some probably think it borders on madness, almost.

But we ourselves don't think so, because we think it's incredibly nice to keep going, says Bengt Wennstig.

- We don't feel that having a garden is like a job, but we think it's just fun, says Marianne Wennstig.

"This has become a way of life"

During the summer, the couple also had an open garden for the public on certain Sundays.

- For us, this has become a way of life.

We are out until evening, we are mainly out during the green season, says Marianne Wennstig.

- I usually say that from April to October the living space is not counted inside the walls but outside, says Bengt Wennstig.
