This was reported to RIA Novosti by the press secretary of the 13th shipyard of the Black Sea Fleet Sergey Gorbachev.

“At the final repair at the plant, the Alrosa submarine is being prepared for the front stage of factory sea trials,” he said.

According to Gorbachev, work is currently underway to eliminate the comments identified during previous tests.

He also stressed that the work is carried out in accordance with the plan.

In May, it was reported that the crew of the submarine had completed mooring trials, but the exact timing of the return of the submarine to combat formation was not called.

Alrosa is a project 877V Halibut diesel-electric submarine, which is part of the 4th separate submarine brigade of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy.

Until 2013, for a long time it was the only operating submarine of the Black Sea Fleet.

In recent years, the submarine was at the 13th shipyard in Sevastopol, where it was dismantled and then reassembled with the replacement of all necessary elements.
