[Explanation] On August 12, the "China Unification Cause in the New Era" Think Tank Forum was held in Beijing.
Several experts on the Taiwan issue from the mainland said at the meeting that the white paper "Taiwan Issue and China's Reunification in the New Era" systematically expounded the mainland's position and policy on promoting complete national reunification in the new era, and demonstrated the "one country, two systems" principle after peaceful reunification. The bright future shows the mind and tolerance of the mainland.
[Explanation] Experts at the meeting believed that the white paper was based on the new situation and enriched the national unified theory and principles and policies.

Based on the overall strategic situation of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the great changes in the world unseen in a century, the white paper thoroughly implements the overall strategy of the Communist Party of China to solve the Taiwan issue in the new era, further clarifies the new historical orientation of China's reunification in the new era, and demonstrates the Communist Party of China's role in the reunification of the motherland.
