“The UN has chartered the vessel Brave Commander.

The vessel is expected to soon arrive at the Ukrainian port of Yuzhny, where it will pick up the wheat paid for by the UN World Food Program," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to Dujarric, this will be the first dispatch of a UN ship under the Black Sea Initiative.

The ship left the port of Istanbul on August 10 after the inspection and will unload in Djibouti, after which the wheat will go to Ethiopia.

It is noted that the UN plans to charter several more ships in the near future to send food to countries in need.

First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky commented on the routes of ships with Ukrainian grain.

According to Ivan Nechaev, deputy director of the information and press department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, ships with grain from Ukraine go not to countries in need, but to Western states.
