The man left the district of Hjällbo to run some errands in Gråbo, north of Gothenburg - but has not been seen since.
Shortly before, he had been in contact with relatives.
Two weeks after the disappearance, the 43-year-old's car was found in a commuter parking lot at a nature reserve outside Alingsås.
The police have searched for the man with, among other things, a helicopter and dogs.
There is no indication that he disappeared voluntarily, states police region West.
