On the 12th, the government held the first ministerial meeting of the NSC (National Security Council) after the inauguration of the second Kishida reshuffled cabinet, and exchanged opinions on the latest situation in East Asia.

The meeting was held at the Prime Minister's Official Residence from around 9:30 am, and was attended by Prime Minister Kishida, Foreign Minister Hayashi, and Defense Minister Hamada.

It seems that they also analyzed the situation in Taiwan, where tensions continue due to military exercises by the Chinese military, etc., and discussed future responses.
