“Ukrainian terrorists continue massive shelling of Energodar and the ZNPP territory,” he wrote on Telegram.

Rogov added that five shells fell in the area of ​​the station's commandant's office, which is located next to the welding site and the storage of radiation sources.

“Another five“ arrivals ”occurred in the area of ​​​​the fire station, located near the ZNPP,” he said.

Earlier, Rogov said that the air defense system repelled the attack of missiles and drones of Ukrainian troops on the city of Energodar and the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. 

In turn, the Deputy Director of the Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Igor Vishnevetsky, expressed concern that the shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by the Armed Forces of Ukraine could lead to disaster.

Also, the head of the National Defense Control Center of Russia, Mikhail Mizintsev, warned that in the event of an accident at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a global man-made disaster would occur, which would exceed the scale of the consequences of accidents at nuclear power plants in Chernobyl and Fukushima.
