This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the wife of the former official Yulia Shestun.

According to her, in conjunction with the previous verdict, the court finally sentenced Shestun to imprisonment for a term of 15 years and six months.

She announced her intention to appeal the decision.

According to the agency, during the debate of the parties, the state prosecutor asked to add an additional seven months to the ex-head of the Serpukhov district. 

In December 2020, the court sentenced the ex-head of the Serpukhov District to 15 years in a strict regime colony with a fine of 49 million rubles in a multibillion-dollar corruption case.
