The LPR military suggested that the Ukrainian military doused the bodies with fuel and set them on fire during the retreat.

Soldiers of a separate reconnaissance battalion of the People's Militia of the Lugansk People's Republic discovered foreign-made ammunition at the former Ukrainian positions near Soledar in the DPR.
