The low level of the minimum wage leads to income differentiation, a decline in production, an extensive shadow economy, and an increase in social tension,” the explanatory note to the bill says.

According to the authors of the document, in the context of sanctions pressure on Russia, which negatively affects the growth of the economy, it is necessary to radically revise the policy regarding the income of the population.

From June 1, 2022, the minimum wage (minimum wage) has increased by 10%, to 15.3 thousand rubles.
