According to the Ministry of the Interior, the Saxon police have other suspected cases related to right-wing extremism.

Eight such cases were registered in the first half of 2022, as can be seen from the response to a small question from Left-wing MP Kerstin Köditz, which was distributed in Dresden on Thursday.

Accordingly, disciplinary proceedings are currently underway against employees of the police departments in Chemnitz, Dresden and Leipzig as well as the University of the Saxon Police.

According to the information, the reason for this is, among other things, racist statements, anti-constitutional contributions in social networks and “a possible proximity to a party classified as right-wing extremist”.

In addition, there was participation in an unauthorized corona demonstration, the comparison of corona measures "with what happened in the Third Reich" and wearing a "lateral thinking" emblem on the uniform.

In at least two cases there are already consequences, explained Köditz.

Those affected were forbidden to conduct official business.

For another official, the provisional suspension is planned.

According to Köditz, there are currently two preliminary investigations into allegations of incitement to hatred.

The Saxon Ministry of the Interior provided detailed information on relevant incidents for the first time in early 2020 in response to a request from Köditz.

With the data published since then, the number of cases now totals 64, according to the Left MP.
