On August 11, the visiting International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Grossi spoke with Wang Qun, Ambassador of the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations and other international organizations in Vienna, reaffirming the adherence to the one-China principle.

  Grossi said the IAEA's position on the Taiwan issue has not changed.

As part of the UN system, the agency supports the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly and adheres to the one-China principle.

  In October 1971, the 26th United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 2758, which decided to restore all rights of the People's Republic of China in the United Nations, and recognized the representatives of the government of the People's Republic of China as the only legitimate representatives of China in the United Nations.
