China News Service, August 10. According to the website of the Macau SAR government, the tropical storm "Mulan" was closest to Macau this morning, and the wind force in Macau may reach the lower limit of the No. 8 typhoon.

Southeast Typhoon Signal No. 8 is now in force.

Affected by the circulation and rainbands of "Mulan", the weather in Macau is expected to be unstable. The wind will reach 6-7 today, with heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Due to the astronomical spring tide, under the influence of superimposed storm surges and continuous rainfall, flooding will occur in Macau's inner harbour and low-lying areas from the early morning to the morning of today and tomorrow.

At present, flooding has occurred in the inner harbor area, and the maximum flooding height will reach its peak in the next one or two hours. The Macao Geophysics and Meteorological Bureau has issued a yellow storm surge warning.
