Russian Foreign Ministry: NATO can be expected to justify the use of nuclear weapons in the future

“If we sum up all these facts, then the conclusion suggests itself that in the future NATO member states can be expected to justify any use of nuclear weapons,” he concluded.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that there can be no winners in a nuclear war and it should never be unleashed.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow is not playing with the topic of nuclear war.

Lavrov noted that the inadmissibility of nuclear war is Russia's principled position.
