During the week, twelve people rode the Vasaloppet in wheelchairs and permobiles, outside of the Vasaloppet's arrangements.

That with the hope that they will get their own race during the Vasaloppet's summer week.

And now Vasaloppet's CEO says that they are looking at this for next summer.

- We haven't set the concept completely yet.

Since they started their own race, we have worked faster to develop an arrangement that is similar to our others with a focus on exercise and health.

The important thing is that they feel included, safe and that it is done on their terms, says Johan Eriksson.

Next summer, the organizers hope that the concept will be ready.

- Initially, it will probably be an easier, shorter arrangement.

Then we'll see where it leads in the future, says Johan Eriksson.
