Kiriyenko: NATO is at war with Russia in Ukraine at the hands of Ukrainians

Kiriyenko said this during the plenary discussion "New Time - New Rules for the Creative Sector" as part of the Russian Creative Week, RIA Novosti reports. 

“(Ukrainian authorities -

) they gave away their country, their territory and, worst of all, gave people away, used them,” he said.

According to Kiriyenko, the Ukrainian authorities provided the territory of the country and citizens so that they could try to build a fundamental confrontation between the Western community of Russia with their hands.

Earlier, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said at a meeting of the Security Council of the organization that what is happening around Ukraine is a proxy war of the collective West against Russia.

Vladimir Yermakov, head of the Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control of the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned that the West's line of waging proxy wars against Russia is fraught with serious consequences.
