United States The search of Donald Trump's house provokes Republican fury
Former President Donald Trump (2017-2021) refused to answer questions this Wednesday from the New York attorney general, in charge of the civil investigation into his business practices and his family's real estate business, the Trump Organization, as reported the tycoon in a statement.
"On the advice of my attorney and for (other) reasons, I have refused to answer questions about the rights and privileges afforded to all citizens under the United States Constitution," the Republican wrote in the statement he later shared on the website. Truth Social network.
The New York investigation is led by Attorney General Letitia James, whom Trump harshly criticized in his text, accusing her of unleashing a persecution against him to "propel his political career."
