“Local residents, under the pretext of supposedly ensuring security, are forbidden to leave their homes, and all their attempts to independently evacuate to safe areas are severely suppressed,” the department noted.
In addition, in the courtyards of residential buildings in Seversk, the Ukrainian military deployed artillery and MLRS - according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, shelling of the nearest settlements of the republic is regularly carried out from these areas.
“All approaches to the buildings are mined, but the local population was deliberately not warned about this,” the department stressed.
