Raymond Briggs, a British picture book author known for works such as "Snowman", a story about a snowman and a boy drawn with a soft touch, passed away on the 9th.

The author, Mr. Briggs, was born in London, England in 1934. After studying at an art school, he mainly worked on picture books for children.
