The absurd incident occurred during a Paraguay professional football match when a dog entered the stadium and took a nap.

Foreign media, such as the British Daily Star, reported on the 9th local time, "The dog fell asleep at the stadium due to the boring game" and reported what happened at the Primera Division, the first division of Paraguay's professional football, on the 8th.

According to reports, the first half of the match between Sol de Americas and Guarani ended without a goal as the flow continued.

Both teams had only one shot, and none were on target.

After the first half, the game was so boring that a brown dog came into the arena to take a nap.

Players from both teams entered the pitch to start the second half, but the dog lay on one end of the pitch and continued to sleep peacefully.

Eventually the dog was dragged out by the stadium staff and the game resumed.

The Daily Star criticized the performances of both teams, saying, "The dog tried to stop the game so that football fans don't have to watch boring games anymore."

Perhaps thanks to the dog's 'nap protest', the attacks of both teams in the second half became more active than in the first half.

A penalty goal from Christian Duma (26 · Argentina) came in the 30th minute of the second half, and Sol de Americas won Guarani 1-0.

This is not the first time a dog has entered the stadium during a football match.

In the women's soccer friendly between Chile and Venezuela in June, a black dog entered the ground in the 36th minute of the first half and the match was suspended for more than a minute.

At that time, the dog ran towards the referee and the players, flirting, and then was picked up by two Chilean players and taken out of the arena.
