The most public investigation against Donald Trump is that led by the American Congress concerning the riots of January 6, 2021. Supporters of the Republican billionaire, who refused to accept his defeat, had

At the same time, the New York State Attorney General is conducting a civil investigation to find out whether Donald Trump deliberately understated the amount of his financial assets in order to escape the tax authorities. 

Also in New York State, the Westchester County prosecutor wonders whether the Trump Organization misled local authorities about the real value of one of its many golf courses.

The supposed objective, again, would have been to reduce the amount of taxes paid by the company.
