At the same time, the politician expressed indignation at the fact that the leaders of Western countries refuse to discuss the fears of the Russian side about the approach of NATO infrastructure to its borders, and along with this, the fact of the growing level of hostility of Ukraine both to Russia as a whole and to the Russian-speaking minority, living on Ukrainian territory.

The former president also added that the dictatorship of a single European opinion and ignoring the truth about the current situation is extremely dangerous.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called the coup in Ukraine in 2014 a threat to the world order.

According to him, the Russian side does not agree with the statement by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that Russia's alleged actions are "an attack on the current world order."

He stressed that the coup d'état in Ukraine in 2014, staged by members of the alliance, became a real thunderstorm for the world order.

Peskov also said that because of NATO, a tense situation with the West had been brewing for several decades.
