In the photo posted by Mayor Park, there was a picture of not only eating, but also drawing a 'V' with his finger.



At the time of posting the controversial meal photo, a heavy rain warning was issued throughout Seoul, including Mapo-gu.

Mayor Park also said, "Yesterday, I was confused by malicious comments."



Another comment said, "I worked late and I was very hungry, so I ate kimchi stew and jeon with the employees on the way home from work."



He went on to add, "I'm sorry I ate the fries."



In response to these words of Mayor Park, some netizens also expressed displeasure, saying, "I'm sorry I ate the jeon? This isn't an apology, it's sarcastic."

Regarding this controversy, the Mapo-gu office said, "Park Kang-soo, the mayor of the ward, watched the situation until late and had a late dinner at a restaurant close to the ward office. To help small business owners, he often posted posts about eating at a restaurant on social media." I did.
