From this Monday in Arkansas, the local parliament is meeting in special session.
Some deputies could try to go even further than their already extremely restrictive law, by preventing residents from having abortions in other states.
Last Friday, Indiana was the first state to vote to ban abortion since the Supreme Court's decision a month and a half ago.
The parliamentarians of Nebraska and South Carolina should also convene special sessions this summer to vote as quickly as possible for total or almost total bans on abortion.
Special session also in Illinois, but for this Democratic state it is a question of protecting abortion, as New York and Wisconsin have already done.
Other progressive states should seek the opinion of their people by organizing referendums.
