Measurements from the last three months show that, among other things, villas in Ludvika go down by 4.4 percent and villas in Falun go down by 6.5 percent, according to measurements from Swedish real estate statistics.

In the entire county of Dalarna, the price of condominiums fell by a total of 22.4 percent in comparison to the whole of Sweden, where it fell by 3.6% during the same period.

Joakim Folkesson, broker at Swedish real estate agency in Falun, believes that the current world situation with the Ukraine war, upcoming interest rate increases and inflation means that people generally become a little more thrifty.

Pending market

- People are getting a little worried and that makes it a bit of a wait-and-see market right now.

Above all during the pandemic, there have been huge increases, although it has dropped five or seven percent now.

But if you look back a year or a year and a half, it's still up a number of percent, says Joakim Folkesson, real estate agent at Swedish real estate agency.

But Joakim Folkesson still believes in a stable market going forward.

- In a way, it's a little healthy for the market that you get a small stop on this big rise anyway, he says.
