According to a report by the American Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), a new poll jointly conducted by the media and Ipsos shows that Americans are pessimistic about the country's economic situation and the future direction of the economy. President Biden's approval ratings continue to decline on a range of issues.

The poll showed that more than two-thirds (69%) of Americans believe the U.S. economy is deteriorating, the highest level since 2008.
Additionally, Americans remain overwhelmingly negative about Biden's handling of the economic recovery.
Only 37% of Americans approve of what Biden is doing, and 62% disapprove.
Inflation is even worse, with just 29% of Americans saying they support Biden's job and 69% saying they don't.
