“Finland will send about 20 troops to the UK to participate in the training program for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The training program is led by the United Kingdom, which has turned to partner countries for support, ”the website of the Finnish Defense Ministry says.
According to the UK, the goal of the program is to provide basic military training to up to 10,000 Ukrainian volunteers.
Earlier it became known that the Swedish government will send up to 120 instructors to the UK to conduct basic military training for Ukrainian citizens.
It is specified that they will subsequently be able to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
