China News Agency, Beijing, August 8th: Question: The evil consequences of the Taiwan-US collusion show that there are three voices on the island that cannot be ignored

Taiwan's Green Camp media's narrative about Pelosi's passage to Taiwan is full of narcissism, but this is not the true face of public opinion on the island.

Several days have passed since the visit, and the remarks that Pelosi's visit will affect Taiwan and cross-strait relations have become more mainstream.

There are three voices that should not and cannot be ignored.

One is the voice of opposing "Taiwan independence" and promoting reunification.

In less than 24 hours of Pelosi's stay in Taiwan, the protests on the island against her moving to Taiwan have not stopped.

These protests exposed Pelosi for provoking tensions across the Taiwan Strait for personal gain, and criticized the Tsai Ing-wen authorities for colluding with external forces to provoke "independence".

This is a just move with national interests in mind, and it reflects that the Taiwanese people reject the manipulation of external forces and the coercion of the DPP authorities.

Huang Zhixian, a political commentator who took the lead in standing outside Pelosi's residence to protest, told the media that the US frequently playing the "Taiwan card" made the two sides feel the "pain of disunity."

It is hoped that the process of cross-strait reunification will be accelerated, "we are all eagerly waiting."

The historical and legal facts that Taiwan is part of China and both sides of the Strait belong to one China cannot be changed.

Even though the situation in the Taiwan Strait is high and turbulent, more people realize after experiencing the storm that fighting "independence" and promoting reunification is a national righteousness, and the general trend of cross-strait reunification is unstoppable.

The second is the voice of hope for peace and anti-violence.

Jie Wenji, a former foreign-related official in Taiwan, borrowed the saying, "There is chicken shit, but no eggs are laid" to describe Pelosi's trip.

Some netizens even believe that this is "the plague passed through the border, leaving a pile of disasters for Taiwan".

In the six years since Tsai Ing-wen's administration came to power, the populist thinking of inciting "anti-China Baotai" has continued unabated.

Taiwan and the United States collude to provoke the bottom line of the mainland or lead to war, while the United States reaps the benefits.

Media person Tang Xianglong pointed out that "the backside of American politicians coming to Taiwan is money." In his opinion, Pelosi and the DPP, one earns enough money and the other earns enough votes.

However, once a fire broke out and a new round of Taiwan Strait crisis is caused, it is the tens of millions of people in Taiwan who will bear the consequences.

In the face of the mainland's countermeasures, Tsai Ing-wen again casts the so-called "dialogue" appeal, but in fact, she is smearing the powder for "independence".

There are remarks that the DPP authorities cannot see anything that can effectively resolve the crisis, except for exaggerating the so-called "rock-solid" "friendship" between Taiwan and the United States and hyping up "enmity between China".

The third is to look forward to the voice of people's livelihood and well-being.

Since Tsai Ing-wen's administration came to power, Taiwan's "five shortages" have been serious and "all shortages" are difficult to solve.

Since the beginning of this year, large-scale infections caused by loopholes in epidemic prevention have exacerbated the difficulties of people's livelihood in Taiwan.

In the election year again, the DPP is keen to speak to the public opinion, but it is the least concerned about the suffering of people's livelihood.

This time Pelosi went to Taiwan, and the mainland urgently stopped the export of natural sand to Taiwan and the import of some agricultural and fishery products.

These disasters caused by the Tsai authorities' active provocation have made Taiwan's industry even worse.

Some fruit exporters have been angry and criticized. The DPP authorities have made cross-strait relations like this, not only "killing" the exporters, but also hurting the farmers.

Fisheries representatives complained that their suggestions to the Cai authorities were like barking a train, and they were not accepted; "I have lost confidence and patience with the authorities."

Pelosi's visit to Taiwan has caused chaos in the island's industrial circles and impetuous public sentiment.

Tsai Ing-wen's government's provocation for "independence" for one party's private plans does not conform to the aspirations of the people of Taiwan who expect people's well-being, let alone the general trend of peaceful reunification of cross-strait relations.

Peace, development, and a good life are the broadest public opinion on behalf of Taiwan.

If the Tsai authorities are persistent, the consequences of the Taiwan-U.S. collusion may just be manifested; if we want to truly focus on the interests of the people's livelihood and comply with the three voices on the island that cannot be ignored, improving cross-strait relations is the foundation.
