Biden expresses concern over China's actions on Taiwan

US President Joe Biden said on Monday he was not concerned about Taiwan but was concerned about China's actions in the region since US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taipei.

"I am worried about China's moves...but I don't think they will do anything more than they do," Biden said upon his departure to the flood-stricken state of Kentucky.

China announced new military exercises in the seas and airspace around Taiwan on Monday, a day after the scheduled completion of its largest-ever exercise in protest of Pelosi's visit last week to the island.
