The gendarmes discovered this Saturday the bodies of a man and a woman in their thirties in Pernes-Les-Fontaines (Vaucluse).
The two victims found at their home died of stab wounds.
Investigators are considering the hypothesis of a femicide followed by suicide, said the prosecution of Carpentras (Vaucluse).
The police had been sent to the scene after relatives of the deceased young woman had given the alert.
Shortly before the facts, the thirty-year-old had indeed warned them of the difficulties she was encountering with her husband.
Autopsies are scheduled for Monday.
