“There is no negotiation process”: the Kremlin announced the “departure from the radar” of the delegation of Ukrainian negotiators

There are no negotiations between Russia and Ukraine to resolve the situation because of the position of Kyiv, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

“The Ukrainian delegation of negotiators, as they say, left the radar.

There is currently no negotiation process in this regard.

The special military operation continues - continues until the set goals are achieved, ”Peskov said.

According to him, at the moment there are no prerequisites for negotiations with the Ukrainian side.

“As for the summit meeting between Presidents Putin and Zelensky, it is possible only after all the homework is done by the negotiating delegations.

This element is also missing.

Therefore, the necessary prerequisites for the [meeting] mentioned by Mr. Erdogan are not yet available at the moment,” the Kremlin official added.

On August 6, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, summing up his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Sochi, said that he had reminded the Russian leader of Ankara's readiness to organize his negotiations with Vladimir Zelensky. 

“Russia seeks peace in Ukraine on our terms”

Russia will seek peace with Ukraine solely on its own terms, Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, said in an interview with TASS.

“Russia is conducting a special military operation in Ukraine and seeking peace on our terms.

It is on ours, we should talk about this directly.

And not on those who are trying to impose on us the former "partners" in the international community, longing for Russia's military defeat," he stressed.

According to him, the decision to conduct a special military operation was a "tough but carefully thought out" response to the Russophobic policy pursued by the collective West.

“We have our own national interests, and we will ensure them by all available means,” Medvedev added.

“Kyiv authorities started selling the country”

Warsaw is gradually implementing its far-reaching plans for Ukraine, the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation reports.

“It is becoming increasingly clear that we are talking not only about the possibility of introducing “Polish peacekeeping forces” into the western regions of this country, but also about establishing control over the most promising sectors of the economy of a neighboring state,” the report says.

According to the SVR, this primarily concerns agricultural production.

Thus, Polish companies organized the purchase of Ukrainian agricultural products at low prices, which will lead to the bankruptcy of many enterprises.

In the future, they will buy up their assets and lands at bargain prices, the department notes.

At the same time, the Poles are already buying barley at $30 per 1 ton, which is "almost five times cheaper than the real cost of this product."

Along with this, Warsaw is investing in the creation of transport infrastructure, which is necessary for the smooth export of Ukrainian food to Europe and other markets where prices are much higher.

For these purposes, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law on special guarantees for citizens of Poland and a law on privatization, allowing the sale of Ukrainian industrial enterprises at a 50% discount.

“Thus, the current Kyiv authorities, in essence, have already begun selling off the country, giving priority in this “business project” to the Polish neighbors,” the Foreign Intelligence Service stated.

Shelling of the Armed Forces of Zaporozhye NPP

The Russian Embassy called on the UN and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to “condemn the criminal actions” of the Kyiv regime, by decree of which the Ukrainian military are shelling the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, and take urgent measures to prevent provocations at radiation hazardous facilities in Ukraine.

At the same time, American journalists are urged to "stop bawling Russophobic fabrications."

This is how Russian diplomats responded to reports from the American media that artillery strikes on the territory of the ZNPP were allegedly carried out by the Russian military: “The real state of affairs is exactly the opposite.”

“This is not the first provocation of Kyiv at radiation hazardous facilities.

The shelling of the Zaporizhzhya NPP by the Armed Forces of Ukraine is deliberate.

In order to discredit Russia, the Ukrainian authorities do not disdain anything, creating a real threat to the nuclear security not only of Ukraine, but also of Europe,” the statement says.

Earlier, the head of the National Defense Control Center of Russia, Mikhail Mizintsev, warned that in the event of an accident at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant due to attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a global man-made disaster would occur, which would exceed the scale of the consequences of accidents at nuclear power plants in Chernobyl and Fukushima.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres, in turn, also called for an end to the "suicidal" attacks on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
