It is noted that the award depicts swords crossing at right angles, as well as the country's coat of arms.
On the back of the medal is the inscription "For the Defense of Ukraine".
At the same time, social networks note that the crossed swords on the medal resemble a swastika.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the captured militants of the national battalions and other formations in Ukraine wear symbols of the Nazi Waffen-SS battalions on their clothes and on their bodies and openly promote the works of Adolf Hitler.
