According to British media reports on August 5, the West is training some Ukrainian soldiers in the Donbas region so that Ukrainian soldiers can use weapons sent by Western countries.

In this regard, Russia has repeatedly accused Western countries of "fighting" and using Ukraine to launch a "proxy war" against Russia.

The British "Guardian" reported on the 5th that experienced retired Western military personnel are training Ukrainian soldiers in the Donbas region, including basic weapons operations, shooting and battlefield tactics.

The retired Western military personnel who serve as instructors are from a private security company.

Funded largely by “private U.S. donors,” the company is tasked with training Ukrainian soldiers.

There are about 20 to 30 instructors participating in the training, mainly from Western countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

They say that because many Ukrainian soldiers lack training and combat experience, many weapons and equipment provided by the West to Ukraine are not used correctly.

Since the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom and other Western countries have continued to support the fire, providing Ukraine with a large number of weapons and training Ukrainian soldiers.

The Russian side has repeatedly accused Western countries of "arching fire", intending to use Ukraine to "deplete the Russian military and Russia's military-industrial strength" and use Ukraine to launch a "proxy war" against Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin also said that the relevant practices of the West "have only one purpose", that is, "to prolong the conflict between Russia and Ukraine as long as possible".
