The escalation of the Houthi militia threatens the collapse of the truce in Yemen

The Houthi militias continued their escalation and violations of the truce on the fighting fronts and against the Yemeni tribes, prompting the "SAM" Organization for Yemeni Rights and Freedoms, to warn of the danger of the truce collapsing as a result.

The military media of the joint Yemeni forces on the western coast stated that the Houthi militia committed more than 49 violations of the armistice on the fronts south of Hodeidah and west of Taizin during the past few hours.

In Abyan, the southern forces shot down a Houthi militia drone in the airspace of the Jaishan District, northeast of the province, which is a new development in the context of Houthi violations of the armistice.

The "SAM" Organization for Rights and Freedoms had warned of the danger of the collapse of the UN-sponsored truce in Yemen, as a result of the Houthi militia's continued targeting of civilians, especially in Taiz, noting that it had monitored the death of two civilians and the injury of two others, at the hands of Houthi snipers in Taiz. , three days after the announcement of the extension of the armistice.

On the other hand, Yemeni Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Mohsen Al-Daeri announced the start of a new phase for the military establishment, during a meeting held in the temporary capital of Aden, which included heads of bodies and directors of departments at the Ministry of Defense.

The Minister of Defense stressed that the national responsibility and the exceptional stage requires redoubling efforts, intensifying cooperation and coordination, and working in a patriotic spirit to implement orders and accomplish the tasks assigned, noting that the battle today is to restore the state and its institutions and end and defeat the threat of the Houthi militia.

In Sana'a, tribal sources said that the Houthi militias are using the UN truce as a pretext to liquidate their opponents from the anti-tribes, and said that during the past two days, the militias carried out attacks against tribes in the Bani Dabyan district and Bani Hashish district in the capital, Sana'a.

The sources reported that the militias launched an attack yesterday evening on the tribes of Bani Hashish in the Saraf region, east of the capital, which led to the tribes confronting them and inflicting the Houthis on three deaths, noting that the clashes came against the background of a dispute over "power and money" between Houthi elements belonging to the Houthi movement. Saada, and another belongs to the Bani Hashish district of the capital's countryside.

The sources pointed out that the clashes took place near the headquarters of the National Security Agency "intelligence", which is under the control of the militias, where the dispute broke out inside the building between the gunmen, and moved to its surroundings and the densely populated area, causing damage to a number of homes and private properties.

On the same level, the militias continued their siege of the village of "Al-Ara" in Hamedan District, north of the capital, for the second month in a row, against the background of the tribes preventing Houthi leaders and elements from robbing lands belonging to the residents of Hamedan to trade in it.

In Shabwa, the local authority made changes to the leadership of the Special Security Forces, as Brigadier General Abd Rabbo Lakab, commander of the Special Forces, and the commander of their camp in Ataq, Ahmed Muhammad Daraan, were dismissed, on the background of their causing the recent clashes in the governorate, which resulted in deaths and injuries.
