Al-Quds Brigades launched intense rocket salvoes this afternoon, Sunday, with a range that reached Tel Aviv and Beersheba, while the Israeli army continued its raids on the Gaza Strip and targeted Islamic Jihad sites.

Israeli sources said that the Al-Quds Brigades (the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement) simultaneously fired 130 missiles in 10 minutes, whose range had reached Tel Aviv and Beersheba. The Israeli sources revealed that the sirens sounded in Beersheba for the first time since the start of the Israeli military operation.

The sources added that the missiles targeted towns, including Belmhim and Sderot.

Al-Jazeera correspondent reported hearing explosions as a result of the Iron Dome system's interception of missiles targeting southern Tel Aviv.

Al-Quds Brigades announced that they had targeted the Palmachim base, Ashdod, Beersheba, Ashkelon, Netivot, Mfalassim, Mifthimim, and all the settlements of the envelope adjacent to Gaza;

In the context of a preliminary response to the assassination of the leader Khaled Mansour.

For the third day in a row, the Israeli army continues to launch raids on the Gaza Strip, as part of a military operation that it started the day before yesterday, Friday, under the name "The Truthful Dawn", against targets that it said belong to the Islamic Jihad movement.

Today, Sunday, the Israeli army said that it launched raids on 3 rocket-launching sites across the Gaza Strip.

The army said - in a statement - that a military aircraft raided today a rocket launch site belonging to the Islamic Jihad movement in the Gaza Strip, which was used in the morning to launch rockets towards the city of Sderot.

In another statement, the army said that a warplane raided two mortar launch sites of the Islamic Jihad movement in Gaza.

For his part, the head of the Operations Division in the Israeli occupation army said that senior Islamic Jihad officials had been killed, indicating that the operation against the Gaza Strip would continue for a few more days.

The Israeli army announced targeting 140 Islamic Jihad sites in Gaza, saying that 580 rockets had been fired from Gaza since the start of the military operation until Sunday morning.

The Israeli radio had reported that the Israeli army had threatened to expand its operations in Gaza, if Hamas intervened and supported Islamic Jihad.
