Large parts of Önsvala preschool in Staffanstorp have been destroyed in the fire that started on Saturday evening.
During Sunday, a number of meetings were held between, among other things, the municipality and the school management to find a solution.
- It affects the children, parents and employees who have their everyday life here at the preschool.
Thankfully, no one was physically injured, but it is tragic that it happens, says municipal councilor Christian Sonesson (M) to SVT Nyheter Skåne.
"Too early for promises"
The municipality has tried to find solutions for the children at the preschool.
In the coming week, the operation will be moved to another preschool that has previously collaborated with Önsvala preschool during the holidays.
- We will solve it temporarily during the next week, then we will look at alternative premises tomorrow, says Christian Sonesson (M).
Is there any risk that some of the children will get stuck?
- It's a little too early for any promises yet, but I think we'll manage it well, he says.
