Described as "exceptional" by Bison Futé, the level of congestion was concentrated in particular in the west of the country on the A10 and in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes on the A7.

The highways recorded 157.9 km and 181.3 km of disruption respectively at the height of the morning.

Thus, at the end of the morning, from Saint-Arnoult-en Yvelines to Poitiers, on the A10, it was necessary to count more than one hour more of the journey.

On the A63, 2h45 instead of 1h55 were needed towards the Spanish border from Bordeaux, with an almost equivalent time in the direction of returns according to the same source.

Traffic will be more fluid on Sunday, with a day classified as green at the national level but orange in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and in the Mediterranean arc.
