The US urged China to immediately stop responding to Pelosi's visit to Taiwan as an excuse.

The Chinese ambassador to the U.S. was called to the White House to convey the intention of protest.

US Secretary of State Blincoln criticized the overreaction when China declared a cessation of cooperation with the US, including closing its military dialogue channel with the US.



Secretary Blincoln urged an immediate halt to China's military action, saying it was unjustified.

The White House has urgently summoned Chinese Ambassador to the United States, Chin Kang.



Kurt Campbell, the Indo-Pacific Coordinator for the White House National Security Council, reportedly met with Pro-ambassador to express his protests against China's armed protests and retaliatory measures.

US House of Representatives Pelosi, visiting Japan, is seeking to isolate Taiwan. He criticized China's efforts as unsuccessful, but reiterated that the purpose of his visit was to maintain peace.

Even after Pelosi's departure from Taiwan, China's retaliation and the rising level of criticism from the U.S. have raised the level of US-China tensions over Taiwan.
