Dry cargo ship Navistar left the port of Odessa with corn, ships Polarnet and Rojen left the port of Chornomorsk.

The ministry noted that Russia complies with its earlier obligations for the export of grain crops and mineral fertilizers from Ukrainian ports.

Earlier it became known that the joint coordination center authorized the departure of two vessels from Chernomorsk and one from Odessa with 58,041 tons of corn on August 5.

On July 22, Russia, Turkey and the UN signed an agreement on lifting restrictions on the supply of Russian agricultural products to world markets and on facilitating the export of Ukrainian grain.

In turn, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu met with UN Secretary General António Guterres.

During the meeting, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation in ensuring the supply of Russian fertilizers and agricultural products to world markets.
