South Korean Foreign Minister expresses hope for normalization of relations with Russia

RIA Novosti was told about this in the South Korean Foreign Ministry.

It is noted that during the talks, the parties discussed the situation on the Korean Peninsula, as well as the Ukrainian crisis.

“I look forward to a speedy normalization of relations between South Korea and Russia and the restoration of peace in Ukraine,” Park Chin said.

In addition, the head of the South Korean Foreign Ministry asked Lavrov that the Ukrainian crisis does not in any way affect the citizens of South Korea living in Russia.

Meanwhile, earlier South Korea announced its intention to join the mechanism for limiting prices for Russian oil, which is being discussed by the G7 countries.
