“As a result of the shelling in the city of Energodar, there is a partial lack of electricity and water supply, a part of the equipment of power unit No. 3 has been de-energized at the nuclear power plant, and the generated power of power unit No. 4 has been reduced,” the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that the water pipeline was also damaged during the shelling.

This caused a torch fire at a hydrogen station.

The fire was promptly extinguished by emergency services.

Earlier it was reported that a fire broke out on the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant after another shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Later, Ukrainian troops launched a second artillery strike on the nuclear power plant.
