DPR authorities banned the use of drones for the duration of the special operation

This is stated in the resolution of the State Defense Committee, published on the website of the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

“For the duration of the special military operation in the territories of the DPR, LPR and Ukraine, establish a ban on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the airspace of the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the document says.

The ban does not apply to the equipment of operational services and law enforcement agencies. 

In addition, drones are allowed to be used by media representatives accredited in the DPR, provided that the equipment is registered.
