At a McDonald's store in New York, USA, a customer had an argument with an employee over frozen fries, and the customer's son shot the employee.



According to foreign media such as CBS in the United States on the 3rd local time, an employee was shot by a customer at a McDonald's store located in Brooklyn, New York at around 7 pm on the 1st.



Earlier, the employee had an argument with a female customer in her 40s over french fries.

A female customer complained that the fries were "cold", and the staff changed the fries to new ones.



However, the customer protested again, saying, "Only a few on top are warm, others are still cold," and the staff explained that "they were cooked as usual."



During this battle, a female customer was talking to her son on the phone.

Shortly after, the woman's son, Michael Morgan, 20, came to the store.



Soon after, an argument broke out between the employee and Morgan, who went out of the store to fight, when Morgan suddenly pulled out a gun and shot the employee.



An employee who was shot in the neck was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but he is said to be in critical condition of brain death.

Morgan was arrested as a current offender by the police and is being investigated on charges of attempted murder. 



During the police investigation, it was revealed that he had been arrested several times by the police for crimes such as theft and assault in the past.



In fact, it is still unknown whether Morgan was the culprit in the murder.



Meanwhile, Morgan's mother claimed that when she first complained about the fries, "the staff laughed like they were having fun." .



Police said the employee had no previous arrests and there was no evidence that he was in possession of a weapon at the time of the incident.

He added that there does not appear to be any connection between the victim and Morgan.



McDonald's said in a statement that "the safety of customers and employees is our organization's top priority."
