In response to the situation in Taiwan, ASEAN hastily issued a statement at this meeting asking them to refrain from provocative actions out of concern for confrontation between major powers. Even in the field, it has become a form of sharpening again.

Russian Foreign Minister: 'I have not met with US Secretary of State'

Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov held a meeting with the foreign ministers of ASEAN member countries on the 4th, stating that "Russia has been and will continue to be a stable and reliable partner for ASEAN," deepening the conflict with the United States and Europe over the situation in Ukraine. In the meantime, he emphasized his positive attitude toward strengthening relations with ASEAN.
