- The more they are, the more space they take up on the beach.

Some people have driven children away and told them not to be there, says Bertil Carlsson, who owns a piece of the beach at Baskarpsbadet in Habo.

Jönköpings-Posten was the first to report on the conflict between nudists and landowners.

On various websites for naturism, the bath is listed as a nude bath, among other things it says that half the beach is for nude bathing and half the beach for textile bathing.

But the bath is not a nude bath, nor is it a municipal bath but private land.

Want to stop the nude bathing

According to Bertil Carlsson, there are often 15-20 people there who bathe naked.

He now wants them to stop bathing naked on his beach and instead visit bathing spots that are pronounced nudists.

According to Sweden's naturist association, the information on the website they link to has been misinterpreted because the bath has been listed as a spontaneous bath for naturists and not as an official bath.

Mattias Svedjefall, who is director of sports facilities in Habo municipality, says that they have asked websites to remove Baskarpsbadet from their lists of nudists.
