The lucky winner will have many responsibilities, such as approving new products using the "DGC (Directeur Général des Confectioneries) label", organizing "confectionery council meetings" or even the role of "head taster".

Not to mention supporting "all things fun" in the business.

Have "golden taste buds" and "a passion for sweets"

The offer is open to anyone living in North America who is 5 years of age or older.

You must, of course, have "golden taste buds" and "a passion for sweets", specifies the job offer.

Candy Funhouse said it had already received more than 100,000 applications in two weeks.

"The majority are from adults, but about 25% are children," the spokeswoman said.

On social networks, the announcement is a great success among Internet users of all ages.

An American user, Matthew Crooks, indicated on Twitter that his 8-year-old daughter had applied, and even created her LinkedIn profile for the occasion.

"It's official @candyfunhouseca she applied. Thanks for helping her learn about the job and the importance of a strong resume, even though she's only 8," he wrote.

Once selected, the recruit will be subjected to "extensive training in tasting" and will, of course, benefit from full dental insurance.
