The now sentenced 21-year-old used a smaller pocket knife which he stabbed in the neck and leg of the plaintiff.

According to the verdict, the two men must have known each other from before.

An apartment key is said to have been on a key ring on the knife used during the attack, the plaintiff is said to have grabbed the knife during the commotion and thrown it away.

According to the verdict, an acquaintance of the plaintiff must have been present in connection with the fight and gave the key to the accused 21-year-old who fled the scene.

The man was later arrested by the police on Sunday, i.e. the day after the incident, and was arrested shortly after by prosecutors on probable cause on suspicion of attempted murder.

The crime classification was subsequently changed to aggravated assault.

According to the verdict, the accused 21-year-old has already been punished.

The man denies the crime and remains in custody until the prison sentence of 2 years and six months becomes final.
