RIA Novosti: ETS confirmed the denial of the opportunity to take TOEFL exams for Russians

“Testing has now been stopped for Russian citizens.

If you have Russian citizenship, which is indicated in your registration record, then this is currently under sanctions, ”a company representative told RIA Novosti.

According to her, ETS received a notification about a week ago.

In March, TOEFL organizers have already announced the suspension of testing in Russia and Belarus, RBC reminds.

Also, the acceptance of exams for Russians was suspended as part of IELTS.

At the same time, Russians had the opportunity to take the exam abroad.

Now, restrictions on registration in the ETS system exclude the possibility of passing the exam for Russian citizens.
